About

The Miami Sea Rise project is aimed to raise not just awareness but mindfulness of the impact our actions can have on the climate. Miami is one key area because it emphasizes just how serious this issue can be. There are projections that estimate that sea levels could increase up to an additional four feet, with the worst case being more than six feet. Miami’s geographical location puts it, along with its people and society, in harm’s way if action is not taken to reduce the sea level rise. With this VR project, we hope to encourage people to make more environmentally conscious decisions and consider more ways to move toward lessening the impact of climate change.
